One of the neighbors I met, Richard Cole loved two things - trucks and talking.
Bob was one of the first people we met when we moved to Franklin. Soft spoken, twinkley-eyed, he was always happy to sit and chat over a cup of coffee, which he confessed his wife didn't want him to have. We talked about baseball, basketball, the trumpet, this town's history, its people, and his family. Then we got to meet the formidable Joan Cronauer, a fierce advocate for reading and education.
